Going to be fit by 40!
I'm going turned 37 this year(2007) and it's just hit me that I've been over weight for the last 20 years. I'm not looking for a "quick fix". I've done those, lost 50, gained 30, lost 20, gained 30, etc. It's time to do it right and have it be permanent!
Highest Weight(2003) - 250 pounds
Starting Spark Weight(8/07) - 232 pounds
Current Weight(6/08) - 172.4 pounds
Total Weight Lost to Date - 77.6 pounds
1st Goal Weight(8/08) - ...

My Goals:
Well, I think my goals are quite similar to everyone else's here. To lose weight, be more fit and most of all to be healthy!!
My lifetime fitness goal is to one day run a half marathon. Obviously I want to start small... a 5K by next Thanksgiving!
My Program:
Keep my food at the low end of my recommended calories. 5 days cardio and 2 days strength training. Favorite workout; Kickboxing!
Personal Information:
I live in North Carolina. Being less than a mile from the ocean, that is where I like to spend my time. Other hobbies are travel, white water rafting, reading, music and doing anything with my hubby and kids!
