Hi everybody!! I'm Maribeth, and I'm here for motivation and inspiration in my journey to lose weight and get healthy. I've been married to a wonderful guy for 32 years, and we have one great son ,and I have a small herd of kitties and goldfish!! (And they're actually even friends!!) I wish you all the very best!!!

Hi! It's Aprill 2011, and I guess I should update. I wrote the intro above almost 5 years ago--- hard to believe. Spark people has been with me on my journey all this time! It's been a long haul, but the inspiration and motivation from all you wonderful Spark people has helped me to lose over 70 pounds. I will stay with Spark to help me continue to live my healthy lifestyle. I have read so many inspirational blogs, and I have been helped so much by hearing of other peoples experiences in the path we are all traveling to live a healthy life. I've been helped every day in so many ways by Sparkpeople and I just want to send out thanks for the difference you have made in my life.

Wow! Time flies! It's January 2013 and I've managed to maintain my weight loss. I still check Spark People daily for inspiration. I'm so grateful for the Spark inspiration!

Hi! Now it's July 2014! Still maintaining with the support and inspiration of the Spark Community. I still check in daily, log all my food, keep a journal, and try to be active every day. Thanks Spark People!!!

And here we are at March 2019! Still doing well. I walk 10,000 steps (almost) daily, staying with my yoga, and I have added a stretching exercise class that's really great. I try to eat a good healthy diet with few processed foods. I keep a food diary. Spark has been an inspiration for me all these years, and I still check in every morning..
