A little view into my world:

I want to prove to myself that I CAN do it.

My mind is always in a stream of consciousness mode...I dream of the Northwest daily in all of its calm, green, caffinated glory. Yes, I still read five books at one time like I did all through school. I just can't help it. People who don't use their directionals irk me. Whole leaf teas, gin and tonics, stouts, or porters are some of the best beverages on the planet (when I seldom have an adult beverage). I have music ADD. I love the smells of patchouli and sandalwood. Growing marigolds, wildflowers, sage, spinach, and basil will be my pastime all summer. Ghosts are intriguing. I wish I could remember all of my dreams so I can find out what my brain is sorting out. I do enjoy people watching--not the creeper kind, the good socialogical kind. People are fascinating. In my spare time, sometimes I make some pretty amazing jewelry. Laughing is the best part of my day...

Fitness Minutes: 28,908

My Goals:
After a year hiatus due to family medical issues, I have realized that I need to be active in order to feel good both inside and out. I would love to be able to run/jog a 5K this summer and make fitness a daily part of my life again.

My Program:
I am working on portion control and I want to do something active every day. I want to get back on track with running and strength training.

Personal Information:
My name is Marta and I'm from the surrounding Madison, WI area.

Other Information:
When I run, I feel amazing! I love the endorphanes that I get from a great workout. I have to make the time for fitness again, and make it MY time.
