Retired and happy but want to lose some weight and improve fittness.

My Goals:
Enter a summary of your goals, or just a few you would like to share.

I want to lose at least 10 pounds and increase my fittness and endurance, so I do not get so tired. Also, most of
my clothes are too tight and I do not want to buy a larger size.


My Program:
Give an overview of what you
are doing to meet your goals.

I am recording the food I eat and when I eat it. I am trying not to eat when reading or watching tv, which means breaking old habits. I am also trying to avoid sweets as much as possible.

After sitting too much during the winter, I am now trying to walk at least 60 minutes each day, stretching more, and using light weights.

.I grew up in the South, but have lived most of my adult life since college in New England. I have 2 grandchildren in NY so I can see them fairly easily.

I like to sing and have always belonged to a choir since I was a child.
Besides concerts, I like theater and books, and especially enjoy being with friends and family.
