My Goals:
To remain positive in spite of many health issues, to exercise as much as I am able to do, and to be mindful of what I eat and why I eat.

My Program:
 I am cooking at home more, journaling food and watching sodium intake, eating lots of fruit and vegetables and drinking lots of water. I am walking every day and reading recipes and uplifting articles and blogs every day!

Born in Kansas, raised in California, lived all over the world, had 1 child born on Guam and 1 in Germany, and now am settled in New York

    Your're such a sweetie pea! I think this second upswing is causing more people to be more concern about being careful. For the first time in my life there was no Thanksgiving at Mom's (second time I wasnt with her) and will not be a Christmas Eve (first time ever). Not so much over virus but just not up to all the commotion. Two surgeries in past few months and they really affected her. Having a hard time dealing and recovering from them. Doesnt help that she is 84 and weights 70 pounds and smokes pack a day.Whenever I am not taking care of grandkids, I am relieving sister down here from parent care. Today ended up spending 8 hours there including shopping. Enough about this!
    It's hard when to stop all of our social life. Does help to be able to keep in touch with phones and/or computers. We just need to keep pep talking. This will pass . It's just scary about the unknown. I tell God every day I know He has my back, but would He please, bless me with a suit of amour to get thru each day.accordingly to His teachings. LOL
    How has your weather been? DH said there's to be snow on Tues but I looked it up and didnt see anything. I deal with snow but really, really dont like it. Thanksgiving was with grandkids. son in law, and DH actually came along. 4 yr old saw him and asked, "Who's that?" but he shined up to DH. Boys are so picky that they had Spagetti Os for dinner. LOL
    Here's something that may give you a little giggle. 6yr GS told this joke. "Why didnt the monster eat the clown?.......because he said the clown would taste funny." West is at the joke telling stage now.
