My name is Lisa. I live in Pittsburgh. I've always been what most folks would describe as "chubby". I've struggled with this my whole life. Some years I have been heavier than others.

I'm starting over on Spark. I've realized that I need to do a few things differently. I need work outs that don't center around the gym - I like to go to yoga, but at certain times of the year, my life is too busy to get to the gym. I also need to measure and track every bit of food that goes into my mouth.

My Goals:
Log my meals every day and measure every bit of food I eat.

Drink 8 cups of water daily

Walk my dog every day, get to yoga 2-3 times a week, strength training 2-3 times a week.

My overall goal is to lose 40 pounds.

My Program:
I eat gluten free as my husband and my daughters are gluten sensitive. I also have an obsessive sweet-tooth, so I try (struggle?) to watch my intake of sweets.

I practice yoga 2-3 times a week at my local Y - I couldn't tell you the "type" I practice - each instructor has her own style! If I can't get to a class I'll do a DVD or go for a walk.

Personal Information:
My name is Lisa and I live outside of Pittsburgh, but I'm not much of a Steelers fan! I grew up in Chicago so I'm a Bears fan. I am, however, a Penguins fan! I'm married with 2 kids and a dog.

My 2 daughters are really into softball. We do SOMETHING softball related almost year round. My 13 year old is currently selecting colleges based on their softball programs and whether or not the team made the Women's College World Series!

Other Information:
I really enjoy horror movies and horror books. I grew up reading Stephen King - I currently listen to Scott Sigler (the FDO) and immersing myself in the Joe Pitt stories now!
