It's taken me a lifetime to realize Self Care = Self Worth.
It's taken me just as long to understand Self Worth improves as we increase our Self Care!
I've spent my life putting many others people first. Even people pleasing. I accept that. It's served me to help others. I will always give of my time and dollars to help those in need.

Focusing on myself, taking care of myself , whether through exercise and proper eating, portion control, planning and prepping meals for the week, getting to yoga often, and planning time with friends, time to paint, time to sew. All of these things are a part of me, and I need to be both creative, but focus at the same time, in order to produce the results that will ultimately satisfy and keep me healthy.

My Goals:
My initial weight loss goal was 50lbs. January 2011, I am setting a more realistic goal, one that's attainable. I want to lose 30 pounds. There is no doubt what is imperative here, is first to move towards optimum health. If I am not HEALTHY, it doesn't matter WHAT I weigh.

    Hello there,

    How are you doing? Just checking in on you to see how you did yest.

    Well i didn't do too bad i must say. I ate a lot better and finally build up the motivation to walk 1.25 miles. At first i wasn't going to walk, but my support group at home made me. Glad he did cause i feel like I have accomplished something.

    There's so many people around me at work exercising, eating right, losing weight that i almost feel like I got to prove something. Should i be feeling this way?

    Anyways, enough of me. How did you do yest? Spark me back and let me know

    Thank you so much for your comment. So far, i have done good with my eating. When i get off work, i'm going to introduce exercising again. I may walk the neighbor depending on my sinuses, or i may just do a one mile walk with Leslie Sansone. Good luck with your schedule today emoticon
