Hi! I am starting this page in order to hold myself accountable as I attempt to implement a healthier lifestyle. Thanks to my little sister for telling me about SP! Once I reach my goals, I hope to enjoy a "second honeymoon" with my husband on a tropical island somewhere...

Fitness Minutes: 1,219

My Goals:
I need to lose 100+ pounds in order to reach a healthy goal weight/BMI. I have tried many diets in the past and I have failed BIG TIME...In fact, I end up gaining the weight back plus even more weight! It's very frustrating! Nevertheless, I am hopeful that this site will give me the tools I need to be successful so that I can lose weight and implement a healthier lifestyle.


My Program:
UPDATE: I still have to work around significant health issues, but I am able to do 30 minutes of cardio broken down into 10-15 minute intervals. I cannot do 30 minutes of cardio non-stop yet. I will ride my exercise cycle or do limited, modified aerobics for 10-15 minutes each morning & 15-20 minutes of walking with my husband each evening. I am attempting to do this 6 days a week in order to develop a "good habit." I will increase the cardio time gradually as my health conditions tolerate the exercise. I will also be utilizing the exercises in Jorge Cruise's book, "8 Minutes in the Morning for Real Shapes and Real Sizes." I will be altering my diet to include less sugar & saturated fats. I will include more fiber and more greens. I will avoid fast food, junk food, and soda. Best wishes for success to you all - and to me, too! :)

    Hi Lauran! I also joined the 30 day binge free challenge, and thought I'd stop and see how you're doing today. Have you started yet? I started today as my day 1, and thusfar, doing good. I'm sure I can do this for 1 day at a time. That's the best way , I think. Let me know how you're doing with the 30 days. We can do this together. I so need this!
