Hi, my name is Elizabeth 55 years old. I've had 7 kids ( 6 grown ) and gained considerable weight with each of them. I have 100 lbs to shed and am going to have a hard time doing it as I have multiple chronic health problems and can't get much exercise due to 3 slipped discs. I would love to hear from others in similar situations for encouragement and accountability. My daughter Megan is getting married August 19th, 2016 and I would love to be down to a size 14 dress, currently a 20 so my weight goal is currently 50-60 lbs in 6 months. My doctor says that's not so realistic but I'm going to give it my best shot.

My Goals:
My goals are to eventually lose 100 lbs. It will probably take a couple of years to reach that goal and that's okay. But I'd like to see a rapid start to it. I have so many health problems right now that are complicated by this extra weight and I would love to be healthy and energetic around my 9 grandchildren. I'm pretty happy with this tracking, accountability and encouragement program.

My Program:
Drink, drink, drink that water. At least 8 glasses a day. I eat every meal off a small plate so smaller portions are easier to enjoy without feeling robbed. Still working out food combos but doing okay I think. I need to eat more fresh fruits and vegis and increase my protein and fiber.

    Hi, Lizzie! Thanks for adding me! I have back problems as well, which limits how far I can walk, but I'm hoping that as I lose weight that will get easier. After going through about 3 months of physical therapy and several injections in my spine I'm mostly doing a lot of yoga and pilates. Just My Size Yoga and Expanding into Fullness, Yoga for Larger Women are a few good places to start. Water aerobics is also excellent for back pain as it takes the stress off your back. I have trouble motivating myself to get to the gym however, so I mainly workout at home. Anyway, good to meet you!

    Hi Liz, nice to meet you. Wow 7 children, what a busy woman you are. I do not have any children. I also have some health issues which limit my exercises.
