Hey there Liz!! So nice to hear from you! :-) My running has been going great - way better than I could have anticipated really. I've been sticking with it and since I last posted on your page wasy back in 2013 (YIKES!! emoticon ) I have completed several more half marathons and even a full marathon! I PR'd at the 5k distance, but haven't been able to nail a new PR in the 10k distance outside of a few minutes off my usual pace DURING my marathon when I hit 6.2 miles. hahaha So I kind of count it as a PR and kind of don't.

I hired a running coach in August of this year and it has really made an impact. I never thought I would be able to have an actual coach, but I am working with Coach Tiffany Henness of Thoroughly Thriving and she's an absolute steal at $40/month. For the support I get, that is truly a bargain!!! Additionally, I am now an ambassador for Skirt Sports, an athletic apparel company if you haven't heard of them, so that really keeps me motivated as well. :-)

My Mom moved to Utah and my sister hasn't been running much lately, but I've found a local gal that I get together with for long runs on the weekend and local races. We actually both met through a mutual friend when she realized we were training for the same marathon. She introduced us and we've been running together off and on since then.

Okay, so enough about me...how is YOUR running going?!? I want to hear all about it... :D

Thanks for stopping by my page!

Thankfully I am training for a half marathon at the moment so skipping runs is not much of an option even through the holidays, and I'm blessed to have a treadmill so I don't have the weather as a ready excuse! :-)

But you are right - it is hard to stay motivated when life is so chaotic which is definitely one of the reasons I'm looking at the RW Streak Challenge.

So far I have had a hard time finding other Sparkers in a close enough range to actually meet up with on a regular basis. I know that the Inland Empire is so spread out it seems like many that are active are in the larger areas while I am in Hemet. I do run on a regular basis with my Mom & Sister and they are both a different pace than I am so I have perfected the art of running in circles so I don't get too far ahead of them! :-)

Hope you have an awesome holiday and stay motivated, friend!
