For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be healthy and fit and confident in my own skin. I reached my lowest weight when I was a freshman in H.S. by basically not eating, which followed closely by gaining back all the weight i had lost and then some. Since then those stupid pounds have been hanging over me and I have been in a constant cycle of dieting and working out but never being able to get my eating under control to reach my goal.

Last year I went from 194 to 178 in just a few months because i started training for a half marathon with my friends, but that was cut short as a result of a knee injury. Since then I have been hanging out in the 171-175lb range. It's time for me to put a valid effort into changing my life so I can be proud of my results and finally be comfortable in my own skin.

SP has been such an amazing tool. I have learned so much since joining last year and I love reading about all these amazing inspirational stories of real people who have transformed their lives by starting to make healthier choices. My goal is to one day be an inspiration to someone else...

My Goals:
I want to look in the mirror and be happy with the way I look and love my body and know that I am working hard for it.

My Program:
*Finish C25K program!
*1200-1300 calories a day
*Track all food intake on sp.
*Cardio 5 days a week
*Strength 2-3 days a week

1/2/10 - 170.6 (xmas) :(
1/8/10 - 169.2 (-1.4)
1/15/10 - 168.2 (-1)
1/24/10 - 164.8 (-3.4) !! :)

Personal Information:
Grew up in OH-IO! But have since lived in Denver and now in China. I am studying the language, working a very part time job recording, leading a girls youth group for expats and just trying to survive this crazy country! I really miss my family in Ohio and my friends that are scattered everywhere. The next time I see my family will be at Christmas I think, I can't wait for them to see the new me :)
