"If you can't stop thinking about it, don't stop working for it." This is my new life motto. I have to improve my eating and my movement and get healthier. I want a life that is worth living.

My Goals:
I want to be able to sleep in my bed again. I want to be able to go for a walk without needing to have my walker along so I have a place to sit down every five minutes. I want to walk on the beach. I want to ride a bike. I want to sit in the grass. These are goals aren't they?
My Program:
Just to get started until I get a handle on things I have decided that my daily menu will be pretty much the same except for dinner. It goes like this: Breakfast - two boiled eggs, one slice of nut & grain bread with .5 Tbsp of peanut butter, a banana. Mid morning snack: A Slimfast 100 calorie snack. Lunch: Slimfast Chocolate Royale drink, apple. Dinner: a smaller portion of what is being had by the family. We've already lowered our sodium intake drastically and are now keeping an eye on fat content so that will be good. My biggest change will be getting some exercise. I think that's the main reason I haven't been losing weight and have actually gained some. I have a portable, seated elliptical machine that's gathering dust in the corner. To start I will use it for 20 minutes a day. At least it's something.
