Hi I'm Lisa! I am for the most part not an overweight person, I'm "borderline" as my dr. put it. I put it this way, if I'm not happy with the way that I FEEL and LOOK then something has got to change. I feel like I am turning a new direction! I started sparking in July of 2011 and stuck with it then somewhere in the last month I gave up. NOT ANY MORE!! I can't give up, this isn't just my weight, its a spiritual journey that is transforming my identity.

A little about myself:
I am a 29 year old stay at home mom with two little boys. I have a wonderful husband who is my ROCK! I can honestly say that we are complete opposites but exactly the same in so many ways. Logan is my oldest son, he is 4 and is autistic. He is my main reason for starting my journey to a healthier life. He overcomes so much on a daily basis, so why couldn't I overcome my weight. My little dude is Cason, my MONKEY! He climbs everything, and well because of him I have been more active for the last year and a half that he has been around. Those three men are my world. I can't imagine something happening to me (that I could have prevented) and not being here for them.

These are my main goals throughout this journey:
1. Build a better spiritual foundation to help carry me through.
2. To lose 20 to 25 pounds by my 30th birthday.
3. To be build a better nutritional foundation for our family.
4. To be a runner, I want to be free and have time to myself to think, pray, and reflect on things.

My Goals:
My goal is simple: to be the best me that I can be. It doesn't matter the size I am or the weight I am. What matters the most is that I am happy and never give up on my dreams!

My dreams are to be fit and to eat healthier than I do. I think I can only achieve my dreams if my goal is met. My dream weight is 125!! If I ever get there I don't know but just in case my dream size is a 6!


My Program:
I try to log everything I eat and drink. I workout when possible, I've done the hardcore thing too fast and gave up! This time slow and steady wins the race and I will finish this time.

Other Information:
My faith keeps me going, as I grow spiritually so does my desire to be more healthy.

    I'm actually looking into a program called Yoga Ballet through Beach Body. I've always wanted to take a Yoga class and I took Ballet when I was younger. Might be the perfect program post Insanity for me.

    Insanity will work! I still have a little over a month to go. I figure even if I don't get the body I want the first time around I can always repeat and "Dig Deeper" to get the results I'm looking for, or who knows maybe take up Yoga once my muscles are stronger.
