Well here I go, once again...
Why is it that we all must be a statistic? My doctor tells me that the average person goes through three lose/regain/lose cycles before the weight stays off for good! Well I am currently on round two...so hate being a statistic! I previously reduced my weight, medical diagnosis, and medicines I took each day. A recent visit to the doctor for routine lab work showed a reversal of my changes! So here I go once again....I set out in July 2010 to lose those 42 pounds that crept back during my ...

A recent visit to the doctor for routine lab work showed a reversal of my changes! So here I go once again....I set out in July 2010 to lose those 42 pounds that crept back during my laziness, as well as lower my cholesterol and triglycerides again. STOP, EDIT one more time. Here it is almost the end of July, 2016, and I'm at it AGAIN. Have yet to lose ANY weight, but learned in the last three years I have three herniated disc in my back. I am trying to find a way to exercise with limitations. Even walking has problems associated with it. I am determined to drop the pounds. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philipians 4:13)

My Goals:
Christmas 2010 to Valentine's Day 2011
Lose 10 pounds
12/23/2010-weight 167#
Valentine's Day 2011 to May 23, 2011
Lose10 pounds
Daily Goals:
Drink 10-eight ounce glasses of water a day
Eat at least one fresh fruit and vegetable a day
Workout for at least 30 minutes a day, 5 times a week
Walk at least 30 minutes a day, regardless of weather
My Program:
Portion control must become my lifestyle!! That is what I have found most useful so far. I try to keep my caloric intake around 1,300 calories a day. My carbs are between 45-55 per meal. If I snack I cut back to 45 per meal and 19 per snack.
I walk approximately 30-45 minutes everyday, pretty much regardless of the weather.
I go to the gym five days a week and workout at least 45 minutes or more a day. This includes 30 minute circuit training and 10 minutes of hula-hooping. I am going to add cardio BACK to my workout at least three times a day, to get me over the slump I am in.
Personal Information:
I have many motivators in my life, especially my sons, they are my biggest cheerleaders. My other family and friends are with me every step of the day and way. They compliment me and cheer me on. I can do this and I will.
Other Information:
Failing is not falling down but staying down.
The most important thing you can give a person is a chance.
