Hi there I am back on Sparkpeople! I took a few years off and did my own thing for a while. My boys have since grown one is in college and the other in his last year of HS. I am now refocusing on me!

I have to say I was not very active but I learned to become active daily not just in a daily exercise routine but in my daily life activities as well. I would sabotage myself once I start to lose substantial weight I’d find a way to ruin it, my best excuse is "well I’ve lost some so now I can splurge a little" and then I don't stop splurging! It has been a long journey for me to realize this fact and to make lifestyle adjustments to conquer this. During my hiatus from SP I lost 40 lbs, regained 30 lbs and am now in the process of losing it again. Sometimes a thing called life gets in the way (I am a chronic migraine sufferer) and I have learned to take one day at a time. I decided to check out SP since I haven’t been on it in a while and discovered they now have an app but you really need to come on the website to see all the info available.

I am looking forward to my reconnect ion of SP, and hope to either reconnect with old friends or make new friends along the way so that we can encourage each other in our individual journeys. I hope to hear from you soon!
