My Goals:
Wow, goals. To get healthier, to mentally and emotionally feel good about myself, to get my blood pressure to go down to normal. TO ENJOY LIFE!!!!
My Program:
3/5/15 - It has been a long time since I posted here - I got down to 131 lbs and am now back up to 141. So need to turn the corner again. Eating lots of fruits and veggies and doing stretching and relaxation exercise. Added smoothies to my life and my morning smoothie helps keep away the hunger.
Ingredients - one whole orange, half a frozen banana, 1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal, 1/2 cup orange juice, 5 ice cubes, sprinkle of cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric. blend in my vitamix and I am good until a late lunch.
Exercise, exercise, exercise. Easier said than done. I have made arrangements to meet with someone two days a week to walk. Have borrowed a bike and started riding again.
8/19/10 Well, my kid took back her bike and it's been in the high 90s for the past few weeks, so the riding got pushed back a while. Will get another bike soon. As for the heat that will also break soon. Riding is still a goal.
Trying to eat 1200-1500 -- calories

I've been a Jehovah's Witness since 1983, it is the best decision I've ever made. Jehovah is the most wonderful person I could ever be friends with and He makes life worth living.

favorite website - jw.org it helps me keep my mental health strong and builds me up daily
working with clinical mindfulness and DBT to improve my emotional well being
