I am a retired person of 70 something.
The last few years I really neglected myself because I was focusing on the care of my sick husband. Along the way, I was eating my emotions and gained a lot of undesirable fat.

Being out of shape and a recent widow, having much more time in my hands, I started to do something about my condition.

SparkPeople was once a very successful tool helping me to adopt a healthy lifestyle; I came back to this efficient site.

I am presently inactive due to an injury to one of my knees.

My Goals:
Long-Term Goal:
Lose weight
Need to lose at least 70 pounds
Using SP website tools
Getting more energy
Being able to function without feeling tired all the time
Being more active
Performing the basic tasks without struggling

My Program:
Starting date: February 22, 2020 = Point A
- Proposed date for reaching Weight Goal: November 2021 = Point B
Review of plan monthly

Medium-Term Actions:
Participation and completeness of different challenges:
- Calendar Challenge (once an a while)

- Black Panther 2020 Summer Challenge (Sparktastic Summer Slimdown) (daily participation)

- Consistency & Motivation Premium Coaching (daily participation)

Short-Term Actions:
Tracking food and fitness daily
Exercise a minimum of 10 minutes daily
Stretching session of 15 minutes daily (I suffer from fibromyalgia and this helps me to start my day)
Cardio a minimum of 10 minutes 5 x a week
Strength minimum 3 x a week
Write journal daily

August 2020:
10 minutes indoor cycling daily
Not eating food after 7pm

Personal Information:
On August 2020, I felt and seriously damage one of my knees, and being presently invalid I have to postpone all activities. I'll get back as soon as I can.
