    Hello Leasa,

    Thanks for the post to my page. I rode motorcycles as a teenager and took them up again 30 years later at 45 when my husband and children all got involved. We even taught daughter in law and son in law to ride. It is a family thing. My husband surprised me on my 46th birthday at a Party at our HD dealership with a New 2006 HD Street Glide. Do you and your husband ride for pleasure as well. My DH and I did a 500 mile road trip last spring before he got really busy with our family business. In 2005 we flew to Seattle and rented a Electra Glide Classic and rode all over the state of Washington and to Mount Ranier. It was really exciting. On that trip I enjoyed the ride from the back seat. I know that this next riding season will be much better, just because I will be more healthy. In just one month I feel like I have returned to my former younger years of healthy living. This site and the accountability and encouragement have been truly amazing. I know what to do, just doing it is the part I have trouble with. Looking forward to more loss in the future. Lets go there together.

    Hi Lease, How are you? I hope the new restaurant is keeping you busy making pies. I have been eating healthy and maintaining a regular exercise program. The weight is coming off very slow. So far I have lost 9 pounds, tomorrow is my weigh in day. I will let you know the results.

    Hi Leasa,

    Good job on your weigh loss, and slow and steady is the right way to go. I weighed in this morning and my new weight is 207.8. I was really excited! I haven't seen lower than 209 in over a year. I am down a total of 6 pounds in all, and I am not starving myself to death. This is a dream come true, God has truely answered my prayers.

    I am so excited for you, and the new restaurant opening, premiering your pies, that is so awesome. I hope they do great.

    Hi Lesa!

    I honestly think that you and Kytkat are doing well. At times I'm afraid to actually look at how big I actually am, trying to think of myself thinner but reality does set in.

    My condolences to you and your family and friends on your loss. It is a set back.

    As for the nutrition meals on SP would be great, but I can't use them because I am also Celiac so I'm trying my best to follow somewhat of an example. The other thing I find is writing a blog or diary on a daily basis. Somehow that helps me when I'm feeling down.

    As for exercising, I find doing everything before I shower in the morning (the strengthening exercises) on the bed if I can. I don't have weights, a ball or rope. After those exercises then I take a shower. Right now I can walk in the mornings too before the heat decides to show its ugly nose (90F here today and humid! YUCK), otherwise I walk in the mall. If I was working (wish I was) I'd still do the same thing, but for breaks at work, I'd do like I used to, go for a walk for 10 - 15 mins. Cardio doesn't have to be done all at once!

    I'm not sure if any of this will help you, but I hope so. I'm fighting against PCOS and thyroid and Celiac. So if I can do it, you can too! I have faith in you!
