    Hi!
    I started with oils, too. I have been doing decorative painting, which has swung over mainly into acrylics. Lately I have been getting back into oils--I forgot how much I like them. I am also trying to get into more fine art, original work, as opposed to the use of patterns in decorative painting. I did learn a lot from that, though, but now that I am "retired" I want to do my own thing. The problem is that wives with retired husbands don't get a lot of time for their own thing, I am finding.

    Drop me a line. What kind of artwork do you like to do?
