I can't express how much SparkPeople has changed my life. I was not an overweight person my whole life but after having 2 very difficult pregnancies and a very sedentary job I reached a high weight of 305 at the end of 2009. I made a decision to start living my life, not slowly killing myself with food and inactivity. I started searching out plans, as I'd always yoyo dieted and came across the book the Spark. I read it and was inspired. I didn't need a diet plan. I needed to change my life for ever. And I truely believe I finally have.

To date I've lost 145 lbs and well over 100 inches. I've gone from a size 26/28 to a size Medium or Small and size 8's. And it hasn't been some crazy fad...I've done it just be being healthy. Measuring my food and trying to make every thing I eat be a smart choice to fuel my body. No garbage (except for a half cup of froyo...I just can't give that up!), limited sugars, refined carbs...none of the stuff you just don't need. I've become unafraid of saying no. I don't feel badly turning down someone's homemade cookies or cakes because I'm worried about their feelings...I'm worrying about mine. It is my responsiblity to take care of ME! No one else can do it for me. Most importantly, I have self esteem and confidence again. I'm starting to love my body and am amazed at the things it can do and has done.

I set a goal to complete the P90x program and loved it! It was such a great feeling to start such a hard program and not struggle and know that the reason why I was able to do so well was because I already was pretty fit! It was such a huge accomplishment for me. Next on my list...Insanity!!!

I also have to give a ton of credit to the C25K plan which I started at around 280 lbs. I've somehow become a runner. And I love it. Not a fast runner necessarily, but a consistant runner and a MARATHONER!

I've become amazed by myself! I honestly didn't think that the basic, common sense approach to becoming healthy would ever work for me. But oh boy has it. I've still got a long way to go to be the best, healthiest me I can be and the accountability and resources offered by SparkPeople has given me the tools to do this for life.

My Program:
Following the Spark Diet goals, recording anything that enters my body. Making smart choices with food by avoiding processed foods, sugar and white carbs. I'm trying to eat atleast 8 servings of fruits and veg and eat only whole grains and minimal fat.

I run several times a week and am currently following the P90x workout program as well.

Other Information:
I want to finish losing my fluff and continue to get lean sexy muscles. I'm well on my way, but I do have some work to do.

I want to be sexy and be able to wear what ever I want and look darn good wearing it.

I want to be able to go out in a corset, low rise jeans and a great set of heels and look HOT!

I want to look good nekkid! (only for my husband ofcourse)
