Not stressing that I'm still in the first 5 lbs of losing weight because I know there have been some days that just haven't been that great (like when 3/4 of the family wants McDonald's, so....yeah). BUT...4.4 lbs isn't really anything to shrug off. It helps that I'm making more meals at home and am increasing my yogurt flavors (for years I would only eat blueberry....then Greek yogurt hit the market and I'm trying more different flavors...currently at the top of the list is strawberry Chobani, fruit at the bottom....still a little scared to try vanilla or any of the "odd" fruits).

So, I know where the hazards are and I'll make better choices. I was *very* pleased with myself when I had 1 serving of California Pizza Kitchen's white pizza - I can easily eat the entire thing in one sitting if I wasn't being conscious about amounts. SO happy, but husband was freaked out. He also finds it funny that I count out Pringle's and don't eat any more than the number in a single serving...but hey, it's working for me, so I'll keep doing it.

One thing I'm struggling with is getting breakfast every morning, so that's where I'm going to focus for the next week...making sure I get something even if it's just a yogurt or protein bar (or both depending on the day!)

My Goals:
drop about 30 pounds, give or take - glucose levels not where they need to be, and knees are starting to have problems, so.....drop the weight, get in better shape

My Program:
resistance bands, walking, hopefully Wii workouts....not sure what else I'll add as I'm older and less flexible than I used to be and have had knee injuries and a broken foot in the past year....yeah, getting older is so much

Personal Information:
hmm, born in Baltimore, MD, lived in VA, then MD, then Panama, then NY, finally back to VA where I hope I'll stay for a while. Have had previous food-issues, and consider myself a recovering anorexic (yes, even though I'm overweight, I can go into starvation mode when under extreme stress).

I was on a 4 day streak but went over calories today-sigh. I may get up early and get in some time on the treadmill. How are you doing these days? Defluff on !!!!

    Thank you for commenting on my page. That is good that we are close together maybe sometime we can go for a run or walk together. Well i hope that you are doing good de-fluffing yourself. I know that feeling about looking at a pic and then noticeing it. Because i was the same way i saw myself in a picture and didn't know what to think of myself. I hope tha tyou are doing good with the everyday challenge that we all face. I'm doing pretty good but not the best that i could be doing. Well i wish you the best of luck and hope that we can chat again sometime. lil bit
