Well I figure that it is time that I update my page.. been a few years and it is pretty outdated. I am 44 and will be 45 in August.. I have had a goal to lose 20 pounds for about the last year and a half.. two years ago I was at my lowest weight in years, 167, well for some reason I let myself go back to my old habits and gain all my weight back and more.. Why do I let myself do this?? I make a lot of excuses as to why I can eat bad or why I don't exercise, out of time, not enough time, I would rather do something else.. it is a tough one for me. I made a decision last week that I will not make excuses anymore, and I have been doing pretty good ths first week.

I did a couple of 5K's this year and it felt pretty good, well the weeks after that I let myself go, GRRRR

My Goals:
To finally make it to my goal, a few pounds at a time.. I have no grand illusions of losing 15 pounds a month anymore, LOL.

My Program:
Getting in my exercise every week, at least 30 minutes a day but prefer at least 60 minutes 5 days a week. Watch what I eat, not overeat and feel miserable, make sure that I drink my water, that is key.. working on givin up diet coke, that is my favorite drink.

Personal Information:
I live in Aurora Colorado, married to a wonderful man, Mike, have one child of my own and five step children.. I also have four grandchildren, I am a very young grandma. I love being grandma because I can spoil them and send them home!

Other Information:
I enjoy riding my motorcycle, camping, reading, working out, anything to be outdoors!

    Living in the boonies and the nearest grocery store being 40 miles away, we tend to shop only twice a month - I have to be organised! We use up the fresh stuff first and then eat out of the freezer. Having home cooked "tv dinners" handy really works.

Hope you have a great day and a wonderful week!!! emoticon We can reverse years of damage to our bodies by deciding to raise our standards for ourselves, then living differently. Old wounds heal, injuries repair, and the whole system improves with just a few changes in what we put into our bodies and how we move them. emoticon

    Thanks for the goodie! I'd love for you to join us for a race. Runnin' of the Green 7K (4 miles) is coming up on the 14th. Also Zooma 1/2 & 10K in Colorado Springs is in July or the Rock n Roll Denver 1/2 in October. Let me know if you are interested and I can set up a training calender for the longer distances.
