“There are no limits to what you can accomplish, except the limits you place on your own thinking.” ~ Brian Tracy
Reading those words was like a wake-up call for me this afternoon! I've been in a dark place the past few days and have really been doubting my ability to reach my goals. The more I thought about it, the more I dwelled on why I couldn't make progress - I was placing limits on my own thinking! It's time to stop that and return to focusing on the positives in my life! Do you ever go through times like that? How do you handle it? Sheila 29 days ago

"Sing the song that only you can sing, write the book that only you can write, build the product that only you can build… live the life that only you can live." ~ Naval Ravikant
This quote made me stop and think about how I've lived my life so far. I've always been more concerned about what others wanted or what they thought about me. These words helped me begin accepting that I need to live my life for me, to make myself happy. That doesn't mean I'll intentionally ignore or hurt others but it does mean that it's often okay to honor my own wants and needs first... to make myself a priority! Have a good week. "Life isn’t a matter of milestones, but of moments." ~ Rose Kennedy
Are we making every moment count? Does every moment have meaning in our lives? Are we valuing the moments of self-evaluation and reflection? It's important to remember that sometimes the moments of "doing nothing" are valuable because they allow us to recharge and refocus as we reach toward those milestone moments. They help us move forward stronger and more determined and are NOT wasted moments! Sheila 34 days ago

"Life is a mountain. Your goal is to find your path, not to reach the top." ~ Maxine Lagacé
The lesson I take from that quote is that we must find and follow the path that leads us toward our goals but that we need to be sure to partake of and learn from the experiences along the way. Following the path is more important than reaching the top of the mountain (our goals). The learning we do is of prime importance! I know that I was not ready to change my life when I lost the weight before because loosing the weight was my only focus. My physical body changed but my emotional and mental health did not. I can see now why I failed and regained the weight! Sheila 42 days ago
