I am a 35 year old, married, stay at home, mother of three kids aged 8, 7 and 3. I've been fat my entire life since I can remember from as young as aged 4. I have tried losing weight a hundred times and following numerous diets only to give up and pile back all the weight and then some. I've gotten only fatter all these years and it pains me to see that I am where I am today.

I want to be a healthy person and an active mum and wife to my kids and a wonderful man I'm married to. Sometimes the kids stress me out and I binge eat or stress eat but enough is enough. I am over all that. I can't keep blaming my circumstances for all the food I put into my mouth.

This time around, I hope to never fail. I know there will be road bumps along the road, but I hope to pick myself up and keep going until I reach my goal weight. I have put this thing off for so long. It's time I work on my body and reach my goal weight load off those poor feet and knees of mine.

This time around, I am going to focus on the process of weight loss (eating right, getting my 8 glasses of water, having my fruits and vegies) rather than the goal (to drop all the weight). Of course I am excited to lose all the weight but I want to enjoy the journey too. I can't wait to see the lady in the mirror when I finally lose all the weight.

My Goals:
I hope to drop 48 kilos and reach my goal weight of 52 kilos within a year or longer if I need to. I am not in a hurry but I am determined to be persistent and consistent and not worry too much about when the weight will drop off.

My Program:
Calorie counting and exercising has been the only thing that has worked for me in the past and the only thing that I've been able to stick with without feeling like I'm on a perpetual diet. So this time around, on November 29, 2017, weighing in at a 100.4 kilos, I am starting calorie counting again.

Personal Information:
Hmmm, I'm a reader, dreamer, creative mind, spiritualist, intuitive, rather religious, humanitarian. I love Spark People because we are all so open and all so helpful towards one another. This is the place I was meant to be.

Other Information:
I know I've said that I'm not going to diet anymore. But I've gotten so tired with counting calories. Hence I decided to do intermittent fasting on 24 January 2018. I weighed 97 kilos when I started intermittent fasting. I like this way of eating because I don't have to cut out specific foods. I can eat what I want within reason of course and then I fast. Whatever I want to eat when I'm fasting, I can always eat the next day. Tomorrow is not too far away when you're fasting.

    Thanks for your comment on my Spark page. Yes, I started the 5:2 IF Plan on Monday. Just completed my first Fast day. Eating only 500 calories is no joke. However, I made it through with a lot of help from hot green tea. LOL.

    Hello Friend😀 Ohh YES, I Fast 14-16 during the week, & 14-18 on weekends. I do one 24hr Fast a month. That's always the First Sinday of the month. I was raised Mormon & that was just Universally known as Fast day. lol Nt Mormon now but its easy 4 me
