Introduction Text To win for God, myself and my family, I need to lose over 100 pounds. I will pursue till victory.

This past summer my weight had climbed to 330 lbs. I knew something had to be done. My college advisor told me about SparkPeople, and I joined Sparks on 4/21/10, Today I weighed and I lost. My goals are to get down to 150 lbs. I want to be able to enjoy life without all the emotional and physical pain that I experience now. I want to feel good and I pray that with my change, I can make a positive impact on someone else. I want to be an inspiration to others. I have not only decided to get the weight off of me, but at age 59, I headed back to college to finish my bachelor's degree in psychology.

My program is changing. When I first started, I didn't exercise, but now I have put exercise into the program. I track my food and look at what triggers me to want something.

I was born in Fremont, OH and eventually adopted to a family in Genoa, OH. After marriage, we moved to PA. Now we live in MO. I am a pastor's wife and love the Lord.

One of my greatest joys is crocheting butterflies for Angels for Hope. Anyone can go on line and request an angel, butterfly or smilely face be sent to someone free of charge. It is a privilege to make butterflies that may brighten someone's life. I also love to read Christian romance and Christian mysteries.
