3rd time is a charm they say right? Well I sure hope so. The older I get the less energy I find myself having. This is my "official" third time of really interacting with Spark and this time I am determined to complete my goal.

The last 2 years of my life have been very difficult. One of my best friends batteled breast cancer (cancer sux). My husband's union has been very slow due to the downward spiral of our economy. He was in a bad accident this spring and has not yet returned to work. ( another sux!) So, my life has been an uphill battle that I am struggeling to overcome.

As many of you mom's can imagine my needs have taken the back burner to my children and others who depend on me. Again, I have let myself down. I have tipped the scale higher than ever after soothing my emotions with FOOD.

I know what works and what does not and as long as I pray and am consistent I know that God and I can acheive great things! (along with help from Sparkpeople :))

Hey lady :) We're having discussions about the local support group in a thread on the Nebraska page if you're interested in putting in your 2 cents - Krystyl is asking for ideas now that she's back from her honeymoon. Have a great weekend!

Hey, thanks for the comment on my blog! I looked at your picture...you so don't look big enough to need an 18!!! I got 3 pairs of those dress pants and wore a pair each day to work so far...and what motivation to eat right and work out!!!!

Congrats on your weight loss success! I hear you on the way you grew up. I graduated at 135 pounds, 5'10", looked great, worked out...no junk food or pop or fast food ever in my house...and when I could eat like crap...I did. I got married at 24 and weighed 175.

When I got pregnant with my daughter I gained a ton of weight. Being pregnant I used that as the excuse to eat whatever whenever and never exercised...1 1/2 later...without dropping much of the weight, was pregnant with my son and just put on more weight. After I had him I was 235...and then in 6 years I went up to 298! How in the world did I let that happen?!?!

My mom still works out all the time, she spends about 2-3 hours at the Y everyday, and my dad does some here and there. I can't imagine still being 298 pounds...65 pounds makes such a difference...and so can't wait until I drop another 65.

Thanks again for the comment on my blog...keep up the great work...one healthy choice at a time!
