Introduction Text I am a Christian wife (23 years) to my wonderful husband, Brant, and mom to 9 awesome kids and 3 sons-in-laws, so far! I have been homeschooling for 16 years, enjoy quilting, scrapbooking, gardening, visiting Long Beach every chance I get, and of course, cooking! I'm a grandma to Madison and Noah and want to be around (here, not the shape!) for many more grandbabies to come! This is actually my third time around here. The first, I lost 25 lbs. and 42 inches. Success in my book! But, I got lazy. My excuses started to pile up, and before I knew it, I stopped making them. I have gained all of the pounds back, but not all of the inches, so with this tiny bit of momentum, I will begin again! I don't care about the number on the scale, but I have set a goal to get my waist down to 32 inches...whatever it takes is my new motto!

Keep going...never give up! It is slow going for me, but I am seeing changes everyday. I've experienced some plateau's (some longer than others!), and am confident that I will be able to maintain once I reach my goals. I don't have a "finishing" weight, but am determined to be able to buy my clothes in the "normal-size" stores and hopefully, my daughters will be begging me to borrow my really cute clothes!

12 glasses of water per day, minimum Watch my carbs...oh, those beautiful carbs...I will miss you. Cardio 3x's weekly Strength 3x's weekly Dessert every Sunday...okay, I'm not ready to give up ALL carbs!

My Motto to Live By: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!" I know, I really should change that, but I think it will be more fun to just "tweak" it a little!
