On your "my nutrition" page, scroll down to "Tools and Settings" in the middle and you'll see "edit nutrition goals". Hopefully, your doctor has suggested where you need to aim for on these (or you might have to give your calculator a work-out) and while you are in this bit I suggest you add all the micronutrient options. Us more mature ladies need to keep an eye on that Calcium intake and it's a great tool for checking how your overall nutrition is doing (and whether you need a supplement while you are learning your new eating plan.

If you need help, just ask: there are multitudes of people here to cheer you on, commiserate if things haven't gone to plan and offer real world advice because we've been through the same stuff.

    You can do this!

Welcome to Sparkpeople so glad you have joined us.

I am not following Keto but my eating plan is fairly similar. I am working on keeping my carbs between 50 - 100 because I am a diabetic and the starch carbs just make me crave more food.

I would suggest you doing a search for a group that is following the Keto plan = I know I have seen a number of them and am sure they would be helpful for you.

Remember to participate on all the groups you have joined as often as possible as that is where you will be encouraged and motivated
