Hello and welcome to my page!
I started my healthy & fit lifestyle change on January 3rd, 2008. This time I am finally doing things right! I have changed my eating habits to what I call "realistic healthy" and I have started excercising regularly.

Since starting at Spark People, I am paying more attention to where my calories come from and trying to eat a balanced diet everyday.

I am hoping to lose 75 pounds by January 3rd, 2009. Every 3 months, I set a goal to lose 10% of my weight. I also track my measurements every 3 months to see my success in inches! :o)

2/3: 228.4 - 12.2 lbs gone!
3/3: 222.0 - 18.6 lbs gone

Soooooo ... From the end of November through the new year, I pretty much went into maintnence mode. I continued to work out regularly, and ate mostly healthy, but I did allow my self some indulgences, like fudge and Christmas cookies!

Now that the new year has begun, I am ready to drop these last few pounds. I don't really have a specific weight I want to be, other than somewhere below 167. Once I get there, I figure I will take it one week at a time until I am satisfied.

I am very happy to report that almost all of my other goals have been reached! I am at 25% body fat, I weigh less than my hubby, and my seat belt nobby sits right at my belly button (this was just a fun and easy to way to track my progress, lol). I can buy size 10's in some clothes, but I would like to be able to know that I can fit into a size 10 from anywhere! And all that is left is what the scale says, which I have learned is the least important number you can know!

45 minutes of cardio 5 days a week.

Have 25 % body fat.
