My Goals:
After a recent "ah ha" moment, I am committed to shedding the excess weight I've put on over the last decade due to pregnancy, parenthood, poor choices, medical problems, etc.
I have a genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which makes my connective tissues really weak, and my joints very prone to injury. I have a minor disability after a major injury related to EDS, which makes traditional exercise challenging -- nothing involving walking or running is appropriate (and I HATE swimming!!!!)
My Program:
Diet: Somewhere between "The Zone" and "South Beach." Does that make me "Lost?"
Exercise: Stationary rowing on a Concept II rowing ergometer. Alas, my "on the water" days have been ended by medical issues, but rowing remains my best cardio choice.
