Hello!
My name is Kathryn and I'm a part-time student at Queen's University in Canada. I am Majoring in Psychology and filling the rest of my courses with as much writing and Linguistic classes as I can!

Reading, writing, and drawing are three of my favourite activities - especially when I can do them while curled up in a warm ray of sun! I'm a (very amateur) photographer, as well as a lifeguard, and am hoping to attend a few of the Queen's Swing Club dance nights again this year. =D My biggest set-back right now is a lack of inspiration/motivation/imagination in regards to art content...hopefully I will come across some soon. =]

This site was recommended to me by my amazing mother - she's been a member for over a year and gushes about her friends here all the time!
As a part-time student just moved out into my own place, my goals are to get out of the house at least once a day; walk at least 35k steps each week; swim at least once every three days; and learn how to eat well while cooking for myself.

Right now life itself often seems pretty terrifying, so reaching those goals appears to be an even more daunting task... I am determined to get better though, and to not let my depression and anxiety get the best of me! Better yet, I am determined to enjoy each day, and conquer my negative feelings! I know it won't be easy, but I also know that I have a lot of people who are thinking about and praying for me - so I know it's achievable.

Fitness Minutes: 594

My Goals:
+ Go outside at least once per day.
+ Walk at 35k+ steps each week.
+ Swim for 30 minutes every three days.
+ Keep hydrated.
+ Lose 2" off waist.
+ Tone muscle.


My Program:
Wii Fit Plus is a great way to keep me active a little each day. Currently focusing on yoga to increase flexibility and release tension in my muscles.



Personal Information:
My hometown is a little ways outside of Ottawa, Ontario; I am currently living near campus for school at Queen's University. I'm 19 with one younger, one older sister. I have two cats: Billy who is 8 yrs old and living with my parents, and a kitten named T-P0 who is 1/2 a year old.


Other Information:
My favourtie book series is Diana Gabaldon's
"Outlander" books. Another favourite is "Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation" by Lynne Truss (I'm a bit of a stickler).
I have a ton of favourite movies of varying genres - I'll give you my Top Ten if you ask ; D
