My story like many is one of seesaw ,dieting..oh yeah..I have tried too many of them. Exercising till my body said NO more! then unable to do anything for days..silly me!
Took way too long to figure out that, healthy Real Food, portion control and reasonable exercise lead to the road to success.
Everyone has to find their own path, usually with multiple trials and errors along the way. Just remember to Never Give Up!!


I do solemnly pledge:
that I will do my best to eat healthy and within my calorie range,
that I will exercise to the best of my ability,
that I will watch my portions and avoid mindless eating,
that I will avoid or limit unhealthy foods,
that I will try to get enough sleep,
that I will stretch myself out of my comfort zone,
that I will always try to make healthy choices even when stressed,
that if I slip, I will get back on track with the very next opportunity,
that I will keep a CAN DO attitude, or ask for Help,
and that I will support my fellow pack mates

Able to walk to mailbox and back with ease..(3 miles of very uneven and rough country roads) but only 3 miles!

My Program:
Cardio 6x 10,00 steps daily at least
starting at 8,000 and working up
M,W,F-weights or bands
T,TH,SAT. Get out an exercise DVD & do it!
Yoga nightly

Personal Information:
Colorado love mtn hikes.
Keep chickens, ducks, geese, two donkeys, a pack of 4 dogs, 5 cats (3 feral that I feed)
country girl to the bone..
love CW music.. actually love music in all its forms
Like to read, knit, crochet, garden, and cook new recipes for people and pets!

Other Information:
prefer to be outside but when in...read A LOT..knit & crochet..watch very little tv.

Play with and train my pups

I love learning new things and I am trying to do as much as I can to crowd a lotta living into each day!

    I love Sherman being displayed. Poor little guy doesn't look as good right now. Surgery and skin biopsies. Looks like he's on the mend tho. I don't know how you find time to do all the things you do Katie....you are a true treasure. Thank you.

    I gave back the key last night and told Jean she had gone too far expecting me to wear earbuds so her friend could listen to the radio at the gym without them - even when I showed her that I was right, she insisted her friend was right. I still can't believe she gave me such a rough time.

    So I quit the gym which was becoming more of a hassle than it was worth, gave back the key to the neighbor's nephew and decided I can walk without Bubba if he doesn't feel like walking! I left him alone when I went to the gym, so I can leave him alone once or twice a day too.

    I feel like a million bucks right now - I stayed away from all the crap and got in my full miles today! That's what I call a win-win situation.

    This morning I was 116 lbs and yes, I know it's not the end of the world as we know it - but that is 6+ pounds back on in a month! That's a problem. It needed fixing. I think I fixed it.
