My name is Karen, I'm 53, live in Arizona and I am a ONE YEAR SURVIVOR from breast cancer. I finished treatment in May 2009. I am doing pretty well getting my strength back. I am maintaining my weight and hoping to keep losing some healthfully too.

I am married to a wonderful husband, Larry. I have 3 kids, my son is grown and my two daughters live with us.

I try to stay very positive and most of the time succeed.

My Goals:
I want to start living my life more purposefully. I waste a lot of time feeling bad about myself and want to get that energy back for something more constructive, like pursuing my painting.

My Program:
 I am walking 30 min daily and watching what I eat including more fruits and vegetables daily.


Personal Information:
I just finished treatment for breast cancer. I am married and have 3 kids, 2 live with us.

Other Information:
 My favorite singer is Melissa Etheridge. I see her concerts every time she comes to Phoenix and I have even done a meet & greet and met her!
