Introduction Text I have so much to be thankful for and that includes all of you Sparkers. Thank you for not giving up on me and for having my back (MOMMYTO4GOOBERS). It's been a rough road back into the living but I'm here and I hope to be back again tomorrow and the next day after that. I don't want to go into my health issues but I need Sparkpeople more than ever. Being inactive, on prednisone, and down in a deep depression has done me no good! I can no longer claim to be in ONEderland. In fact, I'm up 30lbs. I need you all to do some whop a** to keep me motivated. I'll be the big 5 0 in ten days!!! I'm looking for someone who wants to text me on a continuing basis to support, encourage, and just be there at an instant. In return you must want and demand the same from me. I need a friend. Anyone interested please get in touch with me. Also, if you are interested please be sure to have unlimited texting capability, I'd hate for it to cost anything. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ WOW how time flies. Makes me stop a moment to recall all those times in the past that I'd say to myself... "only if you had begun back then". Over a year later, I am proud to say that I did start "back then" and this is now. I have made it to wONEderland. My blood pressure is great and I don't have a sugar problem. My breathing is off some days but not nearly as often as "back then". All in all, I am happy with my progress and with the continued help of my Sparkfriends, new and old, I will get there... the journey continues! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ As I quickly approach my 6 month Sparksversary I am surprised at where I am. Super things happened for me in the first few months but, my scale has been stuck for about 3 months now. Even so, guess what? I can fit in my cloths better and I can breath better. I actually go outside and ride a bicycle! Six months ago I couldn't even shower without having extreme difficulty breathing. I have to admit, I haven't really been "wanting it" for the last 2 months because I've been feeling so much better. I've slacked way off on exercise but as I type this I acknowledge to myself and to all of you... that it's time to get real! It's time to acknowledge that although I feel better than I did 6 months ago I am NOT where I deserve to be. I am worth it! So are YOU! Thank you all my Sparkfriends and all friends to come. I need you, I support you, I wish you the best of everything! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Hi I am a mother to 2 college students, 2 sixteen year olds, a twelve year old, a nine and an eight year old. The house is crazy and often stressful but I wouldn't change a thing! I have an incurable lung disease which complicates things. A catch 22 you might call it.... I can't breath well and the weight makes it worse and I have a hard time exercising because I can't breath. Can get very depressing. My doctor just prescribed a sugar monitor to keep track of my levels. That motivated me to find help because my mom is a diabetic and I don't need any more health issues. I have too much to look forward to. I am thrilled to have found SparkPeople!

Right now I just want to be able to look at myself in the mirror without judgment.
