Introduction Text My name is Julie and I live in Minnesota with my husband and son. I am working on living a healthier life. I've been a member since December 2011. When I started the goal was to lose the weight as quickly as I could. I've lost quite a bit of weight several times. I know I need to lose weight for my health. But, I can't let that be my most important measure of success any more. It is a measure, but it isn't the most important. I want to weigh less, but I don't want to be the overweight person in a thin body. I want to actually feel "thin". I want more energy and a new healthy life.

Finding out that I have prediabetes was the trigger. I am working on finding out what balance of Protein, fat, and carbs work best for me. Goal: Identify food sensitivity and allergies. Short Term Goal: Lose 10% of my weight. Long Term: To have a healthy BMI. Long Term: Gradually make healthy changes that are permanent.

Focusing mainly on a carb restricted diet. Exercise: Currently, love to walk.

I live in Minnesota.

I enjoy photography, hiking and camping.
