Thanks for the friend add - I added you back! I like your comment above that you are PLANNING on this working for you... I hate when people say they hope...or they are going to try... You will have success cause you are PLANNING it!

Hi Judy. I reckon we could be considered bionic women with all our reconstruction in our legs! Sounds like you had a bit more than me! I know when my screw broke it was so very painful! I have a great doctor and he found the problem immediately. Luckily I didn't need any further surgery, just staying off my leg and then a bone bone growth stimulater. Thanks for commenting on my blog! I'm doing much better now and hope for the same for you! How are you lking the hula hooping? I've been considering it, but keep chickening out! From 1 loose screw to another... Melissa

    Hi Judy....
Thanks for commenting on my thread.....very helpful. May I ask how long it took for the Plaquenil to kick in? I'm told it can take 2-3 months. I'm patient.....as long as thre is a real pay-off.

I've added you to my friends' list.....I hope we can be mutual friends- it's nice to 'compare notes' from time to time and to provide support.
    Hugs, Libby

BTW...I have crippling pain in my hand/feet too, from time to time. I hope the Plaquenil helps. I know the morphine and steroid helps.....but I'd love to go off them soon. Has your husband had any eye problems??
    thanks again. L. emoticon emoticon
