Hello all ... I am a stay at home mother of 2, I have a daughter with severe disabilities and a son who is extremely athletic, loves the outdoors, and fortunately for me has always been the type of kid who would rather be outside doing something then be inside playing video games or watching T.V., although this is great for him, it is harder for me, my daughter requires constant supervision and we can't just go take a hike, or go swimming, or skiing, without having a plan and even then if she is having a bad day, the plan has to be scrapped at the last minute at times. This has caused me to become inactive as it tends to be easier to just stay home then try to get everyone out to do something active.
I am hoping that with this site and the help it provides, I can find a way to motivate myself to be all that I can be, I want to be able to live a long and healthy life and even though the days I am able to go do something active with my son, may be few, I want to be ready when those occasions do occur and make the most out of it.

My Goals:
Generally, as most everyone else, I am hoping to be healthier and looking forward to the day that I can look in the mirror and see the person that I have always wanted to be both inside and out. I know she is in there somewhere!

Specifically, I would like to lose 7 pounds in the month of April 2010, and weigh 207

My Program:
I plan on keeping my calorie intake between 1300 and 1600/day, doing 40 minutes of cardio 5 days a week, actively participating in the C25K challenge (currently in week 5) and strength training 3 days a week!
