January 4, 2019 - Time to update this page. 2019 is going to be the year I weigh in the 140's. The closest I've come in the last couple of years is 162. I keep faltering and restarting but at least I restart. I've joined Planet Fitness and instead of dropping in on my home from work I go in the morning. That seems to be working better. I don't have all day to think up excuses not to go.

I have been on this weight loss journey for many years. Even though I sometimes falter, I always come back to my committment to weigh in the 140's and be a healthy, happy, energetic person. 2016 will be the year that I make it!

2017 for sure!

August 10, 2017 - Starting the Keto way of eating. It's totally different than diets that I have been on before. I can eat the fats and leave the fruits without any guilt.

My Goals:
To lose weight, and belly fat. I also want to tone up and get back my muscle.


My Program:
Beginning 8/10/2017 I'll be following the Keto diet.

1/4/2019 - I'm still eating Keto but I've been pretty lazy about it. Since I started my chance of heart attack has gone down to 4% so there are some health benefits to this way of eating. I have had to increase my carbs to include more kidney friendly foods, on my doctors advice. He didn't tell me to stop, just to eat more fruits, veggies and less protein.



Personal Information:



I'm 62, semi-retired, mother of 1 daughter, and doting grandmother to 1 grandson. I have 4 cat and 3 beehives. I enjoy gardening, reading, and playing games on the computer.
