My goal is to balance my life with better healthy eating habits and exercise, as well as living my life with simplicity and grace.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer on May 26th, 2010. I had a lumpectomy on my birthday, June 8th ( I gave myself the gift of life) and received my birthday wish of no nodes!! I finished radiation treatments (33) on August 25th, had a full hysterectomy on September 17th. I will start hormone therapy soon.
I cherish each day and all its beauty....I took back my life the day I was diagnosed and I am not looking back but forward...appreciating all that is to come my way!!

Don't let doubt stop you in your tracks. To keep doubts and doubters at bay, learn to celebrate the magnificent, shining part of you--even when life's storms momentarily eclipse its brilliance.

And finally, I want to acknowledge that making changes in your life is never an easy task. The key, however, is not to get caught up in the distance you have to go to get to where you want to be. Nor should you despair over the amount of control you have over your circumstances. Progress is made in the small, intentional steps, and chances are, you have more power than you think. By focusing on little steps you can take every day, the progress you make will motivate you to continue your journey, and eventually, you can go wherever you want to go. The important thing is simply to begin. ...Stephen Cherniske, M.S
