Hi my name is Julie. I am married to the best guy ever name Adam. We have two dogs name Molly and Whiskey. They are kids for now. :)

Why am I here??

I started to have weight issues I would say when I turned 31 or so. I always was at a good weight for my height and always felt healthy- minus the pack a cigarettes I smoke. I finally gave those up about 3 years ago. I would say that is when it started to get worse. I always was 125-135. When I got to 140 I said I would never get to 150 and well I said I never get to 160. Well today here I am 161. Yes, 161 would be ideal if I was a lot taller. I am only 5'1 in a half. I like to say the half. lol. I am looking to lose about 44 pounds or so.... I really want to get to my ultimate goal weight.. I think spark people will definitely help. I have used the site a couple years ago. I even had a different page. I absolutely love sparkpeople. I am just happy I am back!

The past 3 years have been extremely hard. I lost my grandma and my aunt that I was very close to. I also was so excited in November - I discovered I was pregnant. I was so so happy! My husband and I only had been trying for 4 months or so. Well the pregnancy did not go exactly well. I miscarried in December. I was 9 weeks.The baby stopped growing after a week I found out. I am not to sure what happen, but it was so heartbreaking- mind you this was right around Christmas. I was so depressed and angry! So what did I do. I ate my feelings- boy did I ate my feelings. I made one day 10 different desserts. I gain about 4 lbs around Christmas. I know it was not my fault, but deep down I felt like it was. I thought masking my feeling up in delicious treats would help. It did for a minute and then the next day. I was upset with myself.

I now moved about and hour half away from my friends and family. My husband took a job offer that was to hard to resist.

The new year has been great as far as loving my new town and new house. I start a new job on Monday can't wait! I have not been working for 4 months or so. I need to get out of the house.

So far this new year.. I will stay on track for 4 or 5 days then weekend comes and my husband wants to try a new restaurant. We live in an awesome college town. We could probably get any type of food you can think of. So its good and bad. I look at the menu before I go. I am good about that, but then we go to the movies and I eat a whole box of candy..

So - it's time to love myself again and regain my health. I really am excited about seizing this moment and saying yes I can.

My Program:
My program consists of :

1- exercising 5-6 times a week- (Leslie Sansone walk a way the pounds, cize- which I love!, walking and running

2-Drinking 5-6+ bottles of water daily

3-1200 cals daily

4- eat more real food

5- eating one sweet a day to curb my sweet tooth
