My goal is to get and hold onto that feeling of WELL-BEING as much as possible...

That doesn't mean reaching my goal weight -- though that would certainly achieve this goal... Rather it means very quickly losing 10 lbs so that I can get comfortable in my own skin. It also means feeling in control of my eating and confident that I am and will continue to make good decision -- that will keep me heading in the right direction.

My Goals:
- I will track my food every day and also aim to stay on the low end of carbs. Tracking needs to be a priority of my everyday life because it is fundamental to being and feeling in control of my food.
- I will conduct regular self-evaluation to identify obstacles and immediately develop targeted strategies to overcome those obstacles. This includes recognizing trigger foods and foods with which I have difficulty controlling portions.
- I will continue to blog regularly - to help me understand and manage problems, to express gratitudes and to articulate insights about my healthy lifestyle journey.
- I am adjusting to upcoming changes in my work and home life.

Other goals: Get fit and active, and to do it injury-free!

My Program:
I track what I eat and aim to stay within the guidelines for calories, carbs, protein and fats . I drink water constantly -usually exceeding 8 glasses of water.
I exercise every day. I am participating in Challenges.

I am happily married w/2 kids in college.

    Thank you for your concern and your offer to be my friend. I haven't been able to spend as much time on SP lately as I used to. I kind of hit and miss.
    I need to fit in the exercise and work has more demands. All I wish is for a tiny appetite but you know, if I had that I probably wouldn't be here :)

    Chik-Fil-A is a chicken place, not unlike Kentucky Fried Chicken, in some parts of the country. They offer grilled sandwiches/salads as well as the fried stuff.

    I had half of a chargrilled chicken salad, minus the croutons, and since I'm doing Atkins right now, that was a great choice. The "oops" was a half of a strawberry shake that I finished off--after my granddaughter didn't eat it.

    All in all, the meal wasn't too bad.

    Thank you for my goody tray of veggies and dip, I like that a lot. I'm back on track and feelin great. Started this am with an hr of my Wii Sports and then finished this afternoon with my Wii Fit Plus for another hr ! I'm back in the sadle again ! It feels great ! Thank you for your support it's so very much appreciated and thanks for adding me as a friend.
