I originally found Sparkpeople in 2008. During that time I had some ups and downs with my weight until I finally reached a whopping 200 pounds. 200 pounds is an enormous amount of weight for a small framed, 5'4 lass! Through diet and exercise, I managed to drop down to 129 pounds. This was from 2009-2010.
Over 2 years I ended up slowly gaining my weight back. I was fluctuating between 135-140 pounds, October of 2012 I reached up to 145 and absolutely knew I had to change the scale and quick, but I had deleted my old Sparkpeople account..sooo...

I used a website called MyFitnessPal. It helped me get back down to 134 pounds. There were a lot of things I missed about Sparkpeople though, the main things being professional input on the message boards and a healthy lifestyle promoted by the website. Being an individual who has recovered from EDs a couple times, I NEED THIS! Today (12/4/2012) I have come back to Sparkpeople. This website has helped me so much and offers the best information in my opinion. It helps keep me in check and to be balanced.

Right now I am trying to maintain my weight at 130 pounds, size 2/4. I had to work so dang hard to lose all this weight, I sure as heck don't want to gain it right back.

You can find me at

Now that I have lost a ton of weight, I'd like to maintain that loss! I want to stay at 130 pounds, size 2/4 for the rest of my adult life. (Minus pregnancy weight gain, that will be something to tackle when the time comes)

I have a goal to eat healthier, focusing on making the bulk of my diet fruits, vegetables and protein. This will be a challenge because I love to bake fresh bread and sweets for my family.

I also have a goal to stay active. Ideally I would like to do an hour cardio session 3 days a week.

My Program:
-Keeping my calories in check, adjusting as needed to make sure my weight is stable.

-Staying active. I like to walk because it's so simple and so easy to do. Since it rains so friggin much by Seattle/Tacoma I like to do the Walk Away the Pounds dvds.

Personal Information:
-23 year old homemaker in Tacoma, Washington.

-Love to bake/cook. It's significantly cheaper and much tastier to make your own bread, pasta, pancakes,'s such a waste to purchase pre-made food.

-Avid bird watcher/feeder

-Amazon Turker

-Volunteer in the children's ministry at our church.

Other Information:
For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.
-1 Corinthians 1:25

Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."
-Mathew 16:24
