Introduction Text Hi my name is Jerri. I am 39 years old and on my way to 40. Since having my beautiful children I have gained 100 pounds that has created an environment of stress. I have hypothyrodism and diabetes II. My knees fail me and I not even really old yet. I have watched my family struggle with weight their whole life. I want to make a change so I can see my children grow up. I want to make this change to prove to myself that I can indeed do it and to be a positive role model for my children that they too can do it if weight becomes an issue for them. I also want to feel alive, which I have not felt in many years. I go through each day just dealing with it as opposed to living it. I want to live and enjoy my life with my children and family. I also would love to feel energized and free of pain that is associated with my weight. I made a desicion almost two years ago to quit smoking and that was one of the hardest struggles for me to accomplish. Of course with quitting smoking I gained an additional 50 pounds of weight and here I am, a person who walks across the room and can't catch my breath. Don't pitty me but join the fight against weight loss and together let us reach our goals and live our lives.
