Starting over...again! Sunday, July 7, 2019 was the first day of my new journey. I weighed in at an embarrassing 252 pounds. The last time I was officially working on my weight loss, I had gotten down to 180-ish, and I was so proud of myself. Unfortunately, life's circumstances got in the way and I skewed way off my path. I want to be a better me so I can be a better wife and mother. It's time I take care of myself. And so I'm back and I'm going to Spark my way to a better me!

Fitness Minutes: 24,500

My Goals:
My weight goal is to be a healthy weight for my body type. My dress size goal is to eventually be a size 8. I've got several people who think I can pull off a size 6, but I think I'll just wait and see how it all works out. My activity goal is for me to be able to run and play with my kids until they drop from exhaustion! Actually, I would love to be able to do at the very least a 5k run or maybe a 1/2 marathon. But that's a ways away.

My Program:
July 2015 my program is this: I try to walk at least 30 minutes 5 to 6 days a week. I work with weights or bands while I walk and my 10 year old daughter walks with me for an added motivation. I walk with music so that I can do interval walking as changing pace increases calorie burn. I also do some Wii Fit and strength training using some of the demos from SparkPeople.

I am a happily married 40-something with two wonderful children who keep me busy! I am working to keep myself from becoming a Type II diabetic like my dad, as this runs in our family. I am doing this for me! I will be unstoppable!
