Hi! I am Jayme. I am 31 years old, and am a sahm of 3 children. I've been married for 11 years and I live in Utah. I have been on this journey before, and have started and stopped my current one multiple times, for many reasons. One major hang up I've had in the last year and a half is that I am a recovering spinal cord injury patient. I now walk with a cane and suffer from balance and endurance issues. I think I have gotten it into my head that because I am disabled and unable to move the way I used to, that I can't lose the weight. This is the year I prove myself wrong.

Fitness Minutes: 60

My Goals:
To give thanks to my Heavenly Father for the amazing body I have been given by doing what I can to care for it.

I don't know how much harder it will be for me to lose weight with a disability, so I'm a little hesitant to put down a goal weight. The last time I lost the weight, I got down to 130 lbs and kept it off for a year and a half. I would like to get down to 120 lbs if I can. But I was also happy with myself at 140, so I think anywhere between 120 and 140 will be great for me. I will make a more concrete plan as I get closer to my goal.

My Program:
Journaling what I eat and drink, as well as exercise.

Exercising 6 days a week: Chair Aerobics for Everyone DVDs, as well as other workouts that I am able to do. As the weather gets nicer, and the neighborhood sidewalks and streets are no longer a slipping/fall hazard, I also plan to go for walks.

Watching my sodium intake and gradually reducing the amount I eat.

Personal Information:

Other Information:
Beginning stats:

weight: 227.5 lbs

First small term goal: Lose 22.5 lbs (putting me at 205 lbs)

With every step we take each day
    We're closer to our goal.
Enjoying life is the only way
Or so I have been told.

My light is but a little one
My light of faith and cheer
But lo it glows like God' great sun
    For it was lighted there.

    Shine on, Shine on
    Shine on bright and clear.
    Shine on, Shine on
    The day is here.
