I first gained weight when pregnant with my oldest son - 40lbs. I lost about 30lbs before getting pregnant with my daughter and gaining another 40lbs. Again I lost about 25 before getting pregnant with my youngest son and gaining another 40lbs. I ended up about 35lbs heavier than I wanted to be when I quit losing weight without trying after the youngest.

I tried Nutrisystem one day when I saw a picture of my daughter and I and was shocked not to recognize myself. That worked really well until I spent a week with my husband in Mexico at an all inclusive resort for our ten year anniversary. I think I gained 10 pounds that week and just continued over the next few months to gain 10 more. I did Nutrisystem again and lost weight again, only to gain it back the next year with my "I'm on vacation" mentality.

So here I am again, starting 22 lbs over where I want to be (I have lost 8 already - yay) and I am tired of this cycle I am in. So no Nutrisystem for me this time. I want to lose the weight once and for all even if it comes off more slowly, in the hopes that finally I can keep it off.

My Goals:

I would like to fit into my clothes!! I would also like to walk my dog for at least 30 minutes a day.

My Program:
Give an overview of what you are doing to meet your goals.

I am tracking my food to keep myself accountable. I go to a latin mix dance cardio class at least three days a week. I would like to add 15 minutes of strength training on those days. I talk myself out of the dog walking daily - this is a problem.

    Sorry Jamie, I am not sure. If you go to My Nutrition then there is a little box next to it to click called changed Nutrition goals. Then you can manually change the amounts there. The info button will tell you the percentages but you have to calculate.

    So good to see you on here! Keep it up and lets both go meet some goals! Thank you for the wine, I'll let you know when I open it and taste it... can't wait, but I'm going to save a few calories and reward myself after next week's weigh in!

    YIIIIPPPPEEEE. Did you see I mentioned you in my blog about last night. Maybe we need to set up our own Motivated MTV Moms group.

    30 day shred is Jillian Michael's from Biggest Loser's first DVD that you everyday for 30 days. I started it in May so we will see.
