Hi, My name is Jeff, My age ? Ask my wife I don't keep track, life is too short to be worried about numbers in my mind they are meaningless. As soon as you start keeping track you start getting old and eventually give up sit down, waste away waiting to die. Aging happens to all of us, the human body can't go on forever in it's current condition. 20 years from now I probably won't be able to workout quite as hard as I do now, but I refuse to give up and be pushing a walker. I plan to come sliding in on that day God calls me home screaming "All glory be to the Lord ! What a ride !"

A little over a year ago I had my right rotator cuff surgically repaired. It's healed but I'm amazed at the upper body strength I lost. So about 3 month's ago I restarted a strangth routine for my shoulder and eventually brought some cardio in the form of aerobics in. Now I am to the ppoint of doing some regular strength training with light weights. I can even do some pushups.

I'm getting close to my target weight but it always seems like the last few pounds are the hardest to shed. But I'm working at it. I run 3 days a week and have two strength circuit training routines I do twice a week. I take two days off as rest days to allow your muscles to recover and rebuild are extremely important.

    ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ Sharing Something Special~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~

    Sometimes in life, you find a special friend. emoticon
    Someone who changes your life just by being part of it.
    Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop. emoticon
    Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world.
    Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it.
    This is forever friendship. emoticon
    When you're down and the world seems dark and empty, emoticon
    Your forever friend lifts you up in spirit and makes that dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full. emoticon
    Your forever friend gets you through the hard times, the sad times and the confused times. emoticon
    If you turn and walk away, your forever friend follows. emoticon
    If you lose your way, your forever friend guides you and cheers you on. emoticon
    Your forever friend holds your hand and tells you that everything is going to be okay. emoticon
    And if you find such a friend, you feel happy and complete because you need not worry. emoticon emoticon
    You have a forever friend, and forever has no end. emoticon

    Hi Jeff,
    I've seen better days. emoticon
    But I've also seen worse. emoticon
    I don't have everything that I want. emoticon

    I woke up with some aches and pains. emoticon
    But I woke up. emoticon
    My life may not be perfect. emoticon
    But I am truly blessed. emoticon

    Reflect on this day...be thankful...be strong...and be yourself.

    ~~~~~~ A meaning of friendship ~~~~~~
    I think if I’ve learned anything about friendship, it’s to hang in, stay connected, fight for them, and let them fight for you.
    Don’t walk away, don’t be distracted, don’t be too busy or tired, don’t take them for granted.
    Friends are part of the glue that holds life and faith together.
    emoticon emoticon Thank you for your friendship!!! emoticon emoticon
    emoticon Valentine's Day gives me a reason to express the feelings, emoticon
    I think about but don't say about people, who enrich my life in unique and meaningful ways.
    You are this kind of person. When I think of you, my thoughts are warm, and fond,
    And filled with admiration. I feel blessed to know you.
    May your Valentine's Day be filled with the love and respect you deserve.
    emoticon emoticon Have a Happy Valentine's Day emoticon emoticon
    I came across this on one of my book markers,
    So I thought I would share this with you.
    ""DON'T QUIT""
    When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
    When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
    When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
    And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
    When care is pressing you down a bit,
    Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
    Life is queer with its twists and turns,
    As everyone of us sometimes learns,
    And many a failure turns about,
    When he might have won, had he stuck it out:
    Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
    You may succeed with another blow.
    Success is failure, turned inside out,
    The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
    And you can never tell how close you are,
    It maybe near, when it seems so far.
    So stick to the fight, when you're hardest hit,
    It's when things seem worse, that you must not quit.
    Have a Fabulous February!!
