I am a return Sparkie. I lost weight using Sparkpeople prior to my knee(s) replacement surgery. Post surgery I did great, however, I made poor food choices. I realized I was eating unhealthy but just couldn't stop. My strategy is: plan before eating, eat it/ document, drink 6-8 waters daily, eat within calorie range (1250ish), keep carbs low 140s. fat in mid 30s to low 40s. Exercise at least 3-4 times weekly. Exercise may includes WA# 1mile walk/ home stationary bike 15 minutes and gym. My Wellness Vision Success is a 145 pound healthy female with normal cholesterol, Bp and glucose. I will become conscience of movement. I will move more and more. Then slowly increase walking to 2 miles 3x weekly. In my new strong, trim body I will be more confident. I am fully committed to this life style change to become the healthiest possible ME! I welcome suggestions and encouragement from Spark Friends.

My Program:
-Stay between 1200-1250 calories
-Eat at least 15 gms of protein for breakfast
-Take one day at a time
-eat every 3.5 hrs apart
-eat more fruit and vegetables
-eat soluble fiber (oranges and apples) to lower cholesterol.
-limit red meat
-limit one/none small carbonated diet soda daily
-work on getting up/down from floor
-drink 6-8 glasses of water
-add mild exercise (walking /WA# 1 mile/riding stationary bike/walking 3xwkly

Personal Information:
I recently became a grandmother of a baby girl, truly a blessing from God. I can't express how much joy and happiness she has bought into my life.
