I'm 77. another years has gone by, and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on a Cpap at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a retired farmers wife. We do have some livestock, 2 miniatures horses, and 8 goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

I suspect the black rice may have come from an Asian market. D1 uses a variety of rices and loves Chinese cooking.

Thanks for the blog love about being almost done with the weaving on the loom and teaching this weekend. With covid I have one person in the class for spindle spinning and then the same person for trying spinning wheels. On Friday night I have a person that I taught spinning to a year ago, after he heard there would be three different wheels at the shop ask if I would do a class for him. So I have two students in three classes. And that is the only way we can do it right now. We will be using masks and if I need to, for clarity, I will use a shield instead of a mask. When teaching a physical skill sometimes we will need to be close together. But we will make it work to be safe.

Bernie was a trooper. He did slide in the ice that I was worried about but he survived! He’s the greatest dog!
