HELLO. WELCOME TO MY SPARK PEOPLE PAGE. THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY TO VISIT.


I DISCOVERED SPARK PEOPLE THROUGH A FRIENDS WEB SITE AND WAS REALLY EXCITED TO SEE ALL THAT THIS SITE HAD TO OFFER .

I FOUND THE ARTICLES IN THE RESOURCE CENTER TO BE VERY INFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL, AND THE FOOD TRACKER is A VERY USEFUL TOOL AS IT HELPED ME TO SEE AREAS THAT I NEEDED TO IMPROVE IN ORDER TO HAVE A MORE BALANCED AND HEALTHY FOOD PLAN.

i DID VERY WELL WITH SPARK PEOPLE UNTIL I BEGIN TO GET LAZY AND NOT SIGN IN AND TRACK MY FOOD OR EXERCISE. i ALSO DID NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE MESSAGE BOARDS, OR ASK FOR HELP FROM ANYONE.

HERE I AM YEARS LATER AND ALMOST AS HEAVY AS i WAS YEARS EARLIER. I HAVE SPENT A LOT OF WASTED TIME TELLING MYSELF WHAT A FOOL i AM AND KICKING MYSELF IN THE BUTT, BUT NO MORE. I HAVE DECIDED TO SPEND THE TIME BUILDING MYSELF UP NOT TEARING ME DOWN. AS MY USER NAME SAYS "I CAN DO THIS'

I NEED TO LOSE ABOUT 40 POUNDS BUT MY GOAL RIGHT NOW IS TO LOSE 10 POUNDS. I CAN DO THIS!!!!!


I LOOK FOWARD TO MEETING SOME NEW PEOPLE WHO ARE MAKING SOME HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHANGES AND PERHAPS WE CAN ENCOURAGE AND MOTATIVE EACH OTHER. I KNOW THAT I CAN USE ALL THE HELP I CAN GET.

I will accomplish this by making healther food choices, tracking my food intake, and by drinking water everyday.

Personal Information:
Live in beautiful Northern Maine.
Married for 45 years to the same man who puts up with me every day.He really deserves a medal.

We had two children. 1 boy and 1 girl. and have two beautiful grandaughters and a beautiful great grandaughter who can make me smile and laugh outloud. what a sweetie.


Other Information:
Enjoying reading, quilting,doing jigsaw puzzles, and playing card games. As you can see these are all activities that do not require much movement. Therefore- excess pounds.!!!

    Brenda, we have been missing you at Achieving success with determination!! How be you?? I am still about the same, I just haven't worked hard enough on the calories. I can't do exercises, except for stretches, so that slows things down too. I think since we last talked, I had not gotten my first great grandchild. The problem is he is in Canada and we don't travel and so I may not see him for a long time. Best wishes, Betty

    You are coming up on your TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY at SP.

    Did you quit? I certainly hope not, because that makes me so sad. I hope you are signing in every single day and working toward your goal.
    I've signed in every day for the past 197 days and I've lost 31#, which has been slow, but I will get to my goal, because I won't quit.
    Stay with this. If you've quit, COME BACK, because your health matters!

    If you are an emotional eater, read "Shrink Yourself" by Roger Gould, M.D. This is a wonderful book that I found him talking about on www.youtube.com, where he explains how to stop ruining your success.
